I Love My Grandparents!

My parents had come down to babysit Conley one Saturday while we were at work, then the next morning we got up and went and had breakfast with Frank's parents. Cashy enjoyed being with all his Grandparents at the same time. I really think he can feel all the love surrounding him, especially form his grandparents!

Best Year Ever

2008 was undeniably the happiest and best year of my life! My life changed forever in the greatest way possible, I got married to my best friend and love of my life and then I gave birth to the most beautiful and amazing baby boy! I often wonder now, how did I ever life without everything I'm blessed with now. I know God was looking after me and knew this was exactly what I always prayed about, I never knew there was love like this before. We are so thankful for our family and everything they did for us along the way!

Marlee Van and Conley Cash

I know all of thier pictures together they are sleeping, but it's just so dang cute! I have been best friends with Leesa since 1st grade, so you can imagine the conversations as little girls about living next to each other forever and our kids growing up together. Never in my life did I think that would happen and to my excitement it has! Leesa is getting ready to have a boy for Cashy to play with too, and we are getting more excited as each day passes. I cant wait for our kids to have pictures together, fight with each other, tattle tale, and all the other things they will get into together! Congrats to Leesa and Cullin and Marlee girl!

SOLID FOODS

We gave Cashy his first taste of Rice Cereal with Mixed Fruits in a bowl with a spoon yesterday. I should have known he would take to it right away. The doctor said try it for about 10 minutes a night for 2-3 days until he get it then you can move on to stage 1 food. I didnt buy any jar food thinking we might have to work with the bowl/spoon idea for a while, yeah right. He took right to it, maybe the first couple of times he made a funny face then after that it was mouth open shovel the food in! Of course I cried but I know its time! Daddy is ver happy he doesnt have to have only "vanilla shakes" now!

Aunt Jodi

Right before Christmas, Conley finally got to meet his Aunt Jodi! Jodi moved back home to Lake Charles after school, so we miss her very much and dont get to see her near as often as we would like! She was very excited to meet him and so was he!

Big Baby Boy!

We apologize in advance for not blogging in sooo long...life gets crazy and busy with our little angel! He is growing so fast, people always told me that would happen, but now I realize how true that has become. At his 4 month appointment he had grown 2.5 inches since his 2 month check-up, so he is now 26.5 inches (92%) and 17 lbs. (85%). Im having to buy 6 month pants just for the length. He is so alert and aware of his surroundings now, especially with the dog or any other toy. He just sits and observes Schmevel while Frank is playing with him, like he doesnt get what he is but he likes watching him!
