Conley Cash

Frank's sister Nicole has been taking test shots of Cashy, so we can get his 1 year pics and maybe some x-Mas pictures done. Yes, I know I'm a lil behind!

These are the Days of Our Lives...

Happy Halloween!

Cashy was a football player...for the East Dallas New-B's...Daddy made up the team name! We walked across the street to Swiss Avenue, where Halloween is not taken lightly..I've heard buses charter over there to bring loads of kids, we went early to fight the crowd. He did really well..he had the bag down pat and by the last house he was trying to let go of our hands like "I got this, ya'll can go home now."

1st Time for Everything..

On the way there!
Cashy started his 1st daycare a few weeks ago! We got lucky and found a Christian based school that place the children in classes by thier developmental skills not just by their age...and it's only 2 miles from our house! We have had some rough times...but he is slowly getting better. He used to cry when we picked him up (like Thank God you have come to rescue me), not eat until all the other kids were done, play with only the frog we brought from home, and not want to interact with the other kids. He now smiles..no tears when we get there and his teachers say he has a djusted very well...even throws them for a loop she says! There is only one other boy in his class the rest are little girls!

Time Flies...

Conley Cash Birthday

Here are some of our pics from the park...we went there on his actual birthday! He had people singing Happy Birthday to him and just going on and on about how cute he was, so hopefully he felt like it was HIS day! He also got to eat mexican food and birthday cake ice cream!

The Great State Fair

We made a spontaneous decision to go to the Fair on Thursday and we had such a good time! We also got lucky and got free tickets in, so that helped a lot! Cashy liked the Children's Barnyard and all the water fountains the best. We had the infamous "Corny Dog" and a funnel cake too! Daddy rode a ride all alone...i felt bad but that's how it had to be! Cashy finally crashed about the last 30 minutes...poor guy he trooped it out for the fun!

The Birthday Cake

He was a little bit in shock at his party when it was time for the cake. So we thought once we got home we would see if he would really get into, and to no surprise to us he did! I think all the excitement at his party and the singing really through him off, but he definately didn't waste any time once we got home getting in there!

He's 1 year old!!!!!

It's unreal to me that my little Angel is now a year old. I remember a year ago, the night before I was going to have him, thinking how amazing it was going to be the first time I got to hold him or hear him cry or feel his little finger on mine. Let me tell you that no one could have prepared me for all those moments. He looked just like I thought he would, but I never never would have dreamed the amount of love I had for him. You think while your pregnant how much you love them but until the big day comes..you have no idea.
He has brought us so much joy and LOVE over the last year that we thank God every day for this amazing gift he has blessed us with. He is the sweetest and most amazing thing that has ever happened to us. We tell him everyday how much he has blessed our lives and just how great he truly is! We are so lucky to have such an easy going and loving baby and I think everyone will agree with that!
We hope you had a wonderful birthday son! We love you more than you will ever know!

The Ybarra Family Trip to the Lake

Yesterday we all decided on a whim to go to Navarro Mills lake so the boys could fish, and us girls sit around and chat and play games! Sadly, the boys did not catch any fish but certainly not without effort! We had a good time and my love did very well considering he had to stay in his play pen most of the day. His ball and snacks occupied most of his time!

Around the house...

He is getting so big and his personality is so fun and in FULL FORCE!

Oh the places we go...

We had a spontaneous weekend with Nono, Pa, Jason, Renee, Isabelle and Hasten...it was planned at the last minute but we had the most fun! Breakfast at the hotel on Sunday morning (Frank and I's favorite) and then a trip to the Dallas Aquarium. Of course we chose Sunday when everyone else did and it could not have been hotter outside so imagine the humidity inside, none the less we had a great time as well as the kids! Then we trekked it to the Galleria for lunch at 5 Guys and Fries..yum and an Old Navy trip! Thank you Nono and Pa! I miss you more and more everyday!

Introducing Baby Blu

This post is for sure long overdue, but is so worthy of posting. Blu Davis Lassiter was born on May 13th...the day after all of us girls had a chance to go hangout with Leesa and Blu at the hospital all day. It was wonderful! He is so cute and he has the longest lil toes I've ever seen. Him and Cash were only 3 oz. and 1/2 an inch apart in size...of course my child's the bigger one. Blu is getting big now and so so cute! Here's the pics from that day!
