Great State Fair of Texas & Farmer's Market Fall Festival

After the baptism we took Cash to the Farmer's Market (one of our most favorite places in Dallas) for the Fall Festival. Games, crafts, and snacks he had so much fun! He wasn't ready to go!

Every year since Frank & I have been together we go to The State Fair, even when I had 5 days left before having Cash! So it's sentimental that we go and make more fun memories as a family now! I got Cash on his first ride thinking he would have such a blast, well as soon as the ride got higher, the breakdown began! Screaming, crying, grabbing on to me for dear life....I felt horrible! Once it got lower he was fine, like nothing had ever happened! Poor guy!

Baptism Day

We were a little behind of having Cash baptizied but we finally made it happen. It was very important to Frank that we have him baptizied now (Catholic), so he can begin his life with God on his side. I was not raised that way, but I found it very touching that he felt so strongly about it. It was a great day and I'm so so happy we did it!

Cashy's 2nd Birthday

Our theme this year was Wizard of Oz, he has had an obsession with Oz since Frank's Dad recorded it for him last Thanksgiving. I will say it was not the easiest theme to work with, but I ended up pulling it off somehow! Not too mention I might have been a little bit sad that he was already turning 2!
He had such a good time, and it was a beautiful day outside to top it all off! I got a wonderful surprise that weekend as well, Jodi & Angelique showed up for the party and it meant so much to us! His favorite gifts were his new tricycle from Nonna & Pa and the Talking Buzz from Grandma & Grandpa!

Horrible blogger I am!!!

I have not posted anything to my blog since July, so let me give you a re-cap of our lives since...if that's possible!

Cash turned 2 on October 3rd, which did not even seem possible. I find it crazy that at such a young age he can have such a distinct personality. Frank and I always say we are so lucky to have such a wonderful boy! He truly has such a wonderous bubbly personality, he is very loving, compassionate and so eager to learn.

He says new things everyday that I'm beside myself about, how does he even know how to say things like that! For example, he is fasinated by the moon "Where the moon, Mommy" or animals I never knew that he even knew about (seals, ants, wombats) along with thier matching sounds!

We are now potty training! Surprisingly he is very good with all of it! He went at home a couple of times in one night, so I'm so excited and proud to tell his teacher at school the next morning. I proceed to tell her, only for her to say "oh yes, we have been working on it here at school!" Here I'm thinking I'm Supermom, WRONG!!!!

I lost my job in September, so I've been doing 2-3 part-time jobs to make up! Needless to say this has made time go by rather fast! I'm so thankful for my amazing hubby, and his even more dazzling tailoring skills to keep us afloat! The good thing about bumps in the road like that is it truly makes you appreciate everything you have. Our relationship especially, things can get very stressful at times, so I'm very blessed to have him to lean on!

We just had Thanksgiving with my family at my Grandma's which I cherish so very much! I do not know many other families that have such a tight knit group, not too mention the size of our family. I couldn't imagine growing up in a small family nothing's better than massive amounts of food, loud noise from so many mouths, and watching each family grow larger and larger!

I will post pictures from our family pics we did in October this week. I'm waiting on the cd and the prints. They were all so good it took me forever to pick, here is a small preview:

Say Cheese!

1st Hospital Stay

As you all know the week after Thanksgiving we had to go to Children's Hospital with Cash over night. After a few scary moments of thinking it was pneumonia..it turned out to be RSV. That is a very hard thing to have to put your child through, and we never want to have to do it again. Once he became in good spirits I knew things were looking up. Thank you again for all your thoughts and prayers at our time in need!

Ybarra Family Christmas

This year we did Ybarra Christmas on the 23rd. We made brisket for dinner and exchanged gifts...everyone was excited to see how Cash would react to opening gifts. He did very well and as always it was entertaining. He got a wagon that was full of lil legos but of course being "all-boy" he thought it was funner to be pushed in the wagon than to build the blocks on it. We had a great time but it's never long enough. Thank you and we love all of you very much!

1 year party!

I'm a horrible mother...I just realized I made all these post about Cash turning 1, but I dont think I ever posted pictures from his actual party. So here they are...Park Lane Ranch..it was a lil brisk and slightly rainy but it turned out so cute regardless of all that!

Hello to all!

We are a lil behind on blogging as you can see, so I'll go ahead and put up what pictures I do have. These are all from my mother-in-law's camera...she seems to get pretty cute ones that I sometimes don't. The rest on our camera I'll have to post later. I hope everyone had Happy Holidays and God Bless!
